addition, ATS has PMI-certified Project Management Professionals staffed on a full-time basis
to provide mentoring support for all processes and throughout the project lifecycle. Applied

PMI-certified resources are required to maintain their certification and opportunities are

State and local government projects are staffed through a number of avenues. ATS utilizes
its broad array of networks to identify and recruit highly qualified resources. ATS has
ongoing relationships with local, technical staffing firms as well as PMI certified training
organizations across the region.
SDLC Understanding
All resources provided by Applied Technology Services are familiar with the System Development
Life Cycle issued by the State of Maryland’s Department of Information Technology (DOIT). This
and other similar SDLC’s have been applied in a broad array of projects at numerous State and
Local government organizations.
Proposed Project Management Methodology
Applied Technology Services understands the importance of a project management framework and
processes within that framework in the success of a project. Having defined processes within
your methodology allows a project to be properly managed in terms of scope, cost, time, quality,
risk and customer satisfaction. ATS utilizes the standard PMI project framework to structure and
manage programs and projects of all sizes.
